Renew, Reinvigorate, Retreat

At the beginning of each new year, the Congregation Council of Community of Joy Lutheran Church gathers for a nearly daylong retreat.  This is a time to welcome any newly elected members, to reflect on the past year, and to plan ahead and set goals for the coming year.  This year’s retreat was held at the conference room of the Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce.  We had very useful discussions and shared many thoughts, ideas, and suggestions.  We now feel well prepared for the year to come.  All of our Council was present.
