On Saturday and Sunday, June 13 & 14, a Congregational meeting was held to vote on a motion for remodeling and expansion of the kitchen.  Council President, Lance Miller, called the meeting to order with Council Secretary, Doris Harder, keeping the minutes.  Lots of questions were asked and Al Ness, Fred Ekstrand and Bonnie Kierstyn were well prepared with answers. Voting was held at the end of each meeting and the motion to remodel and expand the kitchen was passed by an overwhelming vote.  Plans are that the new kitchen will be completed and ready for use by October 17 & 18 -- the weekend when we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Community of Joy.
