Women’s Worship Weekend

On June 5th & 6th, Community of Joy Lutheran Church celebrated the substantial contribution of women to the effective ministry of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.  All of the leadership roles for the weekend services were filled by women of the congregation and led by Worship Leaders Barb Woodman & Karen Sterzik.  The sermon focused on the gifts and talents of the women who were close to Jesus in His earthly ministry, especially Mary of Magdala.  The actions and generosity of those women can serve as inspiration for our lives and motivation for us to do more as people who love and serve our neighbors and the world.
