19 men from Community of Joy Lutheran Church met at Good Sam’s on the morning of Sept 2^nd for our monthly Men’s Group Breakfast Meeting.  Pastor Ross Worch was our featured pre-breakfast speaker providing us with an inspirational devotional message concluding with a prayer.

Our after-breakfast featured speaker was Wilbur Smithers speaking to us on behalf of the HSV Property Owners Association.  His topic was the proposed property assessment increase for the Village.  Wilbur covered some history of past increase usage of funds along with the proposed use of money generated should the assessment vote pass in October.  Budgeted items included; increased road paving within the Village, equipment repair and replacement, water capacity expansion, upgrades to the waste water treatment facility and increased spending on advertisement promoting Hot Springs Village.
